A meeting. A wine. A destiny.

ONE NAME, 3000 YEARS OF HISTORY

The name Akrille represents a deep link with the ancient origins of Chiaramonte Gulfi, the town in which today the winery of the same name founded by the Bastianich and Cutrera families was born. Two families distant by geography but united by a passion: expressing the Italian territory through the ancient arts of wine and oil.

Story of an encounter
Story of an encounter

Akrille's is the story of a friendship and a destiny. The friendship between Joe and Salvatore is about an evening in New York in which they decided to join together to give life to a new project. A project that has its roots in Sicily: Akrille.

Our wines

The Cutrera family has always owned an old historic vineyard, made up of a mix of vines, two in particular: an absolutely new white and a red, old clone of the very particular Nero D'Avola.

Philosophy and Terroir
Philosophy and Terroir

Territoriality and traditions: wines produced only from native grapes, searching for the oldest clones.
Wines that come from a special land where the temperature changes between day and night will give them unique organoleptic properties.
